ACT Music
Recorded May 19-22, 2007 at Storkyrkan, Stockholm (The Cathedral of Stockholm)
"Music has stood by my side, offering comfort and release throughout my
adult life. Even in my most difficult moments, I felt as if someone was
speaking to me.
I have asked prominent composers, musicians and conductors:
- Where does music come from?
- Why do we have music?
- Why are we the only animal on the earth that created music?
- Why are we doing it, and how did it happen?
None of the people I asked could give me an answer.
Personally, I have a vision that music has been given to us as a
gift. I am not a believer, yet I believe that music has been given to
us, to give us a glimpse of realities and worlds beyond the one we are
living in."

"In watching “Autumn Sonata” shortly after his death, I realized how
important music and silence are in Bergman´s movies. He was a master in
this respect and therefore I want to thank him with this album,
containing a style of music I think he would have appreciated."
