…..A Short presentation of pianist Jan Lundgren´s Trio and friends
gathered together for this homage to Jule Styne would not be out of
place – despite the fact that they all should be well known to the
majority of jazz enthusiasts throughout the world:
36-year-old Jan Lundgren himself, in the course of the past ten
years, has been one of the Swedish jazz musicians who has created most
attention, not only in his own country but even other parts of the
world. He has received critical praise for his playing not only in
connection with his concert performances in Europe but also in USA and
Japan and he has participated in many recordings under his own name and
those of others, as well as several radio and TV engagements.
